Project Context

This project involved transforming an R&D engineering model and CMF specification into a complete marketing-ready visual system.

Deliverables included:

  • Hero product renders
  • E-commerce image sets
  • RGB material calibration
  • Factory comparison adjustments
  • Exploded structural visualization

From R&D Model to Marketing Asset

Starting point:

  • Engineering 3D model
  • Official CMF documentation

The model represented functional precision — not visual identity.

My responsibility was to develop:

  • Lighting direction
  • Surface realism
  • RGB diffusion accuracy
  • Camera composition
  • Multi-angle marketing image sets

The final images were deployed on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.

Iterative Calibration Against Factory Samples

During production, renders were continuously compared with real factory samples.

Adjustments included:

  • Pump diffuser translucency tuning
  • RGB gradient correction
  • Surface roughness recalibration
  • Hose texture realism refinement
  • Black coating reflectivity balance

This iterative loop ensured visual consistency between:

Render → Factory Sample → Retail Product

Exploded Technical Visualization

In addition to marketing visuals, exploded renders were created to communicate internal structure.

These visuals supported:

  • Sales explanation
  • Structural transparency
  • Product credibility

This extended the visualization beyond aesthetics into technical storytelling.

Unlike digital marketing renders, packaging visuals operate under different constraints.

The image is not viewed on a screen.
It is printed, cropped, scaled, and seen under retail lighting.

This case focuses on rendering specifically for product packaging covers.

This packaging cover render was developed specifically for high-resolution print production.
From material calibration in KeyShot to final layout integration in Adobe Illustrator, the process focused on precision, color fidelity, and structural clarity.

Every surface detail was tuned to withstand print scaling, CMYK conversion, and retail lighting conditions — ensuring consistency from 3D visualization to physical product packaging.
