3DHP Educational Animation – Explaining Performance Through Visual Storytelling

Overview

To support Cooler Master’s EU market strategy, I developed an educational animation explaining the performance advantage of 3D Heat Pipe (3DHP) technology.

The goal was not just to show product visuals — but to translate complex thermal engineering principles into intuitive visual narratives that non-technical audiences can immediately understand.

This animation focuses on one key selling point: Same cooling performance. Lower noise.

Concept Strategy

I structured the animation around a simple contrast:

Traditional HP3DHP
Airflow obstructionSmooth airflow
Higher fan speedLower fan speed
38 dBA30.7 dBA
Visible turbulenceControlled airflow

The story builds progressively across four scenes.

Instead of explaining airflow physics verbally, I visualized:

  • Turbulence as chaotic airflow arrows
  • Resistance as impact distortion
  • Fan compensation as increased RPM motion
  • Noise as measurable data (dBA)
